Down The Line Shooting, or "Trap Shooting" takes on several forms, but no matter the variation, they are all shot over a standard measured layout. |

| Calibre: | No shot to be greater than (larger shot size) than number 7 1/2. |
| Club Rules: | Shotgun match can only be shot from bay 13 of the 50 Mtr Range, (Range 1). "Fault line rail" to be fitted in place in bay 13 before any shooting. (note 1.) Clays (and hence lead shot) to stay within the range and not to pass above the backstop. |
The single action match also has a shot gun stage which is part paper targets and part metal targets. |
